Michael Moran;82;of 834 Brown St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;June 26;1989;at 2:55 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Moran was born Aug.22;1906;in Monessen;a son of the late Thomas and Mary Olenik Worchuck Moran. He retired as a foreman with the Former American Chain and Cable Company in Monessen. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;Mr.Moran was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. His wife;Catherine Tomalski Moran;died March 5;1985. Four brothers;John Worchuck and Frank;Pete and Paul Moran;are also deceased. Surviving are a sister;Mrs.Harry (Helen) Kondratic;of Belle Vernon;and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzunski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
