Obituary

Michael Mazzei,aged 47 years,a life long resident of Belle Vernon,died Monday,May 8,1950,at 7:20 p.m.at his home,513 Green street,following a lingering illness.  He had been employed at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel.  He was a member of the Prince of Naples Lodge of Belle Vernon and the Charleroi Lodge of Eagles.  Surviving are his wife,Mrs.Lena Stringhill Mazzei,three brothers,Joseph,of Pittsburgh,and Frank and Albert,both of Belle Vernon.  Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,until Thursday,May 11,when the remains will be taken to the St.Sebastian Church for services at 10:00 a.m.with Rev.Francis Martin,officiating.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
