A Blessing service was held Friday morning, July 17,1992 for Michael Kunder,85,of Rosecrest Ave.,Monessen,who died Tuesday, July 14,1992.in Parish House Nursing Home, Perryopolis. He was born Jan. 19,1907,in Monessen, a son of the late Boltasar and Marie Kunder. A Monessen resident all of his life,he was a charter member of the Charleori Boat Club. Mr. Kunder was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Monessen plant. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Konick Kunder,a son, Eugene, a brother, Albert,and three sisters, Adele Mellinger,Sue Townson and Barbara Draskovich. Survivors include two sons,Arthur Kunder of Charleroi and John Kunder of Monessen,six grandchildren,and four sisters, Catherine Nettle of Akron, Ohio,Anne Brady of Pinellas Park,Fla.,Lillian Townson of Ontario,Canada and Diane Triggiani of Monessen. A Blessing service was held at 10 a.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Monessen with the Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Burial followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
