Michael J. Ruby,71,of 11 Mifflin Ave.,Uniontown,died in Uniontown Hospital at 6 a.m.,Monday Oct.13,1975. He was born in Belle Vernon,the son of the alte Alexander and Ann Wanca Ruby. He was a member of St. John's R.C.Church of Uniontown and was retired from U.S.Steel as a millwright. He was a member of United Steelworkers of America. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Samonsky Ruby;one daughter,Barbara Ruby of Gibsonia;a son,Joseph T. Ruby of Bethel Park;five grandchildren; five sisters,Mrs. Thomas (Mary) McCoy of Berkeley,W.Va.,Mrs. Fred (Eva) Matthews of Fairhope,Mrs. Albert (Ann) Williams of Lutz,Fla.,Mrs. Joseph (Nellie) Reymon of Kalamazoo,Mich. and Mrs. Harold (Pearl) Laughlin of Charleston,W.Va, five brothers,Harry Ruby of Dearborn,Mich.,Andrew Ruby of Donora,Steve Ruby of Belle Vernon,Peter Ruby of Coraopolis and John Stanton of the state of California. Friends will be received in the Oats-McGee Funeral Home of Uniontown Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m,Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday until 9 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.Thursday in St. John's R.C.Church with Father John J. Walsh as celebrant. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish Wake Service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home.
