Michael Chuhanic of Charleroi R.D. 2 died Wednesday; Aug. 22;1984; at 5:15 p.m. in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 71. Mr.Chuhanic was born Oct.2;1912;in Webster;a son of the late John and Mary Macik Chuhanic. A lifelong resident of the mid-Mon Valley;he was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Mr.Chuhanic retired as a self-employed contractor in 1975. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son;John M.Chuhanic;March 6;1981. Survivors include his wife; Jarmilla
Cernicky Chuhanic; a brother; John
Chuhanic of Stockdale; two sisters;Mrs. Mary Curtiss and Anne Chuhanic;
both of Stockdale; and several nieces
and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 7
to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski
Funeral Home; 626 Broad Ave.. Belle
Vernon;where a Prayer service will be held on Saturday;Aug.25;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
