Michael (Cherry) Soroka, 49,of 121 Price St.,Belle Vernon,owner of Cherrico's Bar, Belle Vernon, died Monday morning, May 18,1964 at 1245 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was hospitalized on Friday after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Soroka was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and was employed at Banning No. 4 of Republic Steel Corp. He was a member of Holy Trinity R.O. Church, Charleroi, Russian Club, Pricedale and Loyal Order of Moose, Belle Vernon. A veteran of World War II, Pacific theatre, he was a member of American Legion Post,Belle Vernon.
