Obituary

Meada Osborne,100,of 21 Grand St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,March 30,1975,at 8:50 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital,following a long illness. Miss Osborne was born in Independence,Va.,on Feb.10,1875,and lived in Belle Vernon the past 49 years. Survivors include four nieces,Mrs.Rose Callahan of Youngstown,Ohio,Marie Mattie Osborne of New York,Mrs.Bessie Woods of Pittsburgh and Mable Osborne of Belle Vernon,and five nephews,Lonnie Osborne of Pittsburgh,Dewight Osborne of Washington,D.C.,and Wayman,Samuel and Herman Osborne,all of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home in Monessen from 2 until 4 p.m.and 7 until 9 p.m.on Tuesday,April 1,1975 where funeral services will be held on Wed.April 2,1975 at 1 p.m.with the Rev.S.W.Chambers,pastor of the Speers Street A.M.E.Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper,funeral director in charge.
