Mazie Donnini Reach; 96; of Washington Township; died Saturday; May 10; 2003; at 4:20 p.m. at her home. Born Aug. 15; 1906; in Belle Vernon; she was a daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Girini Donnini. Mrs. Reach was a resident of Washington Township for the past 45 years; having previous1y resided in North Belle Vernon. She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith. Mrs. Reach also was a charter member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon and was honored as Mother of the Year by the Anita Garibaldi Society in 1976. She was a devoted cook and worked many hours with Anita Garibaldi Society and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 dinners. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Myron and Donna Reach of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Reach; on Sept. 11; 1993; two brothers; Edlo Donnini and Frank Donnini; and one sister; Bruna Lemendola. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Tuesday; May 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy C. McConville; pastor of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon; officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon will conduct services Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
