Maynard C. Raucher,of Fallowfield Twp.,Charleroi R.D.1,died Friday, August 30,1968 at 1 a.m. at his home. Mr. Raucher was born in Blossburg,Pa.,Oct. 22,1904,a son of the late Charles Rauscher. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Charleroi,Charleroi Lodge 615,F.and A.M.Pennsylvania Consistory Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh,Syria Temple AAONMS,Pittsburgh,Wa-Cha-Gree Forest 149, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Monongahela Valley Caravan 17. Survivors include his widow,Ruth Braddee Rauscher; son, Charles of Belle Vernon,daughter, Muriel Dell, at home,his mother,Mrs. Chloe Ellis Rauscher of Belle Vernon, one granddaughter, Valerie Lynn, one brother, Lt. Col.Merle R. of Newport News,Va.,two sisters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Moffat of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Robert (Frances) Brown of Union,N.Y. Friends will be received at the Kenneth V. Thompson Funeral Home,Bentleyville,Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,where private funeral services will be held Monday,Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Frank Bodnar in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to the Cancer Society. Charleroi Lodge F.and A.M.will conduct masonic services at the funeral home,Sunday at 8 p.m. Kenneth V. Thompson,funeral director,in charge.
