in Washington Hospital. She was 76.
She was born Jan. 23; 1908.
Mrs Davis was a retired beautician.
A resident of Monessen for many years;
Mrs. Davis was a Methodist by faith.
She was a member of the Wayman
A M E Church of Monessen. At the age
of 21; she became a member of the Elite
Temple No. 428 of Monessen; which she
served as a temple deputy and was a
faithful member.
She also was a member of the
Virginia Boyer Missionary Society; the
Senior Stewardess Board and was a
past state association president.
She was a member of the Loyal Vice
Daughter Ruler of Alpha Council No. 1
of Pittsburgh.
Mrs Davis was preceded in death by
her husband; Robert.
Surviving are a brother; Clarence
Baity and a nephew; Eddie Baity; both
of Willlmsport; and a devoted friend;
Willie Morgan of Monessen.
Friends are being received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home; 645 McMahon
Ave.; Monessen; and on Friday at the
Wayman A.M.E Church. Monessen;
from 10 a.m. until 1 p m.; the time of the service with Rev.E.E.Davis officiating. Elite Temple services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m.at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
