Maurice V. Kennie,86,of 302 Fayette St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,December 10,1971 at 4 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial. Mr. Kennie ,a member of the First Presbyterian Church on Belle Vernon,was past master of Belle Vernon Lodge 649,F&AM, and a member of the Consistory of Pittsburgh and Syria Temple. He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp's Monessen Plant. Surviving arre his widow,Mrs. Margaret Knight Kennie;one son,Fred J. Kennie of San Diego,Calif.;two daughters,Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Wallace,in Japan and Mrs. Norman (Margaret) Mattis of Chapel Hill,N.C. and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 2 p.m. Saturday.
