She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;a charter member of the Belle Vernon Eastern Star;a member of the Belle Vernon Women’s Club and the auxiliary of the Belle Vernon American Legion. She was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Springer in 1940. Survivors include one son;Robert E.Springer of Jeannette;four daughters;Mrs.John (Corabelle) Taylor of Bear Rocks;Pa.;Mrs.James C.(Lois) Davis of Clelsey;Ala.;Ruth Springer at home;and Mrs.Earl (Donna) Owens of Pittsburgh;eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m.and Monday form 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday;Feb.25;1975 at 1:30 p.m.;with the Rev.R.Dawson Hopson;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating.
