Mrs. Maude Ivill Martin, 82, died Saturday at 2:20 p.m. at her home, 113 Water St., Belle Vernon. Mrs. Martin was born in Carnegie, Jan. 7, 1882, a daughter of Samuel and Melissa Wiggel Ivill. She had resided in Belle Vernon for 48 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Martin, in 1928, she is survived by a son, Elmer of Wilson, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Eric (Bertha) Forsberg, at home; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Le Comte, Belle Vernon; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10. Services will be held there Tuesday,June 16 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. E.M.Oakes,pastor of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon will be in charge. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,Belle Vernon,funeral director.
