Funeral services were held today in the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene; followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery for Maude M. James; 97; formerly of Speers Hill and Belle Vernon. She passed away Friday; Nov. 21; 2008. For the past six years; she had been a resident of the Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys; Pa. Maude was born in Albany; Pa.; on June 11; 1911; a daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Redmond) Aldridge. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Benjamin T. and Janet Roberts; of Benezett; four sisters; Edith Wolfe; of Clairton; Betty Joseph; of Shelbyville; Ind.; Mildred Bennett; of Belle Vernon (Arnold City); and Pearl Hamilton; of Belle Vernon; seven grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Albert James; one daughter; Loretta Forte; and several brothers and sisters.
