Mrs. Maude K. Dalton,77,of East Gate Manor, Monessen,died Thursday, Aug. 28,1969 at 3 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. Dalton,who was born in Pittsburgh,was a member of St. Leonard R.C.Church,Golden Age Club and Senior Citizens Club,all of Monessen. Mrs. Dalton spent most of her life in Monessen. She was a saleswoman at Joseph Horne's in Pittsburgh,until retirement in 1961. Her husband, James Maurice Dalton, died in 1966. Surviving ae a son, James M. of Laurel, Md.,one daughter,Mrs. John E. (Maude) McCauley of Belle Vernon R.D.2,eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Rose Wells of Youngstown Ohio. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday. Services there Saturday,Aug. 30,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Requiem High Mass in St. Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen at 10 a.m. The Rev. Regis M.Rickey,pastor, will officiate. Intement in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
