Mattie T.Logan;76;of 71 Marion Villa;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;June 15;1975;at 8:15 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. Mrs.Logan had lived in this area the past 50 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;where she had served on the Usher Board. Her husband;McKinley Logan;preceded her in death on Nov.1;1967. Surviving are three sons;James Logan of Brooklyn;N.Y.;Ernest Logan of Detroit;Mich.and Dallas Logan;at home;three daughters;Inez Wilson of Pricedale;Beryl Woods of Brooklyn;N.Y.;and Shirley Woodson of Belle Vernon;one sister;Ophelia Bailey of New York;16 grandchildren;three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m.Wednesday. The body will be moved to Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;to lie in state at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m.at the church with the Rev.A.C.Morris;pastor;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor is funeral director in charge.
