Matthew V.Cope;36;of Fayette City;R.D.(Naomi) died May 26;1952;at 11:45 p.m. He was born in Fayette City;February 18;1916;the son of John and Rosalie (Kopus) Cope. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church;Charleroi;and the Moose Lodge here. He is survived by his wife;Alice Cope;three sons and two daughters;two brothers;John Cope and Joseph Cope of Fayette City;R.D.;and one sister;Mrs.Anna Rockridge of Fayette City;R.D. Friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Friday;May 30;1952;at 1 p.m.;followed by additional servies at 2 p.m.in the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church;Charleroi. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rev.Gregory Soroka will be in charge of services. John L.Bake is the funeral director.
