Matt 'Buster" Stefanick Jr.,43,of 927 Brown St.,North Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,Jan.23,2001,at 7:30 p.m. at his home. Born June 1,1957 in North Charleroi,he was the son of Matthew and Gertrude Searles Stefanick,who survive and reside in North Belle Vernon. Mr. Stefanick Jr. was a lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon and a member of St. Sebastian R.C.Church in Belle Vernon. He was retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel-Monessen Plant,where he worked as a warehouseman. He was a member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. In addition to his parents,he is survived by a daughter,Brandi Lynn Stefanick of Belle Vernon;a son,Matthew Stefanick of Belle Vernon;two brothers and a sister-in-law,Michael H.and Sandy Stefanik of Donora and Marti Stefanick of Belle Vernon;two grandsons,Jesse Kisiday and Thomas Mauk;a niece Beth Ann Stefanick;a nephew,Michael R. Stefanick;and several cousins. He is preceded in death by a sister,Mary Ann Stefanick;and a brother,Mark Stefanick. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Prayer Service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C.Church with the Rev. Donald P. Trexler,parochial vicar,officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The St. Sebastian Legion of Mary will recite the Rosary on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
