Obituary

Matthew A.Lynn,86,died at the home of his daughter,Mrs.Harrison B.Maund in Dunlevy,Monday October 13,1958,at 11:16 a.m. Mr.Lynn,who was born May 13,1872,in Blythe,Durham County,England,had been a resident of Dunlevy for sixty-six years,and operated a general store there,known as the Lynn Brothers ,in partnership with his brother,Ralph Lynn. He was a charter member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Dunlevy,and for fifty-eight years,was a member of Charleroi Lodge 1030,I.O.O.F. Preceded in death in September 1952,by his wife,Mrs.Maria Lynn,he is survived by one son,Thomas E.Lynn,Elrama,four daughters,Mrs.Glenn D.(Elizabeth) Myers of Franklin,Mrs.Mylo M.(Mary) Spencer,also of Franklin,Mrs.Norman G.(Agnes) Ross,Wheeling,West Virginia,and Mrs.Harrison B.(Alice) Maund of Dunlevy,nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Thursday October 16,1958,at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.Lester B.Crum,pastor of the Monessen Evangelical Brethren Church,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
