Mrs. Mathilde I. Ghenne of Fallowfield Township,Monongahela,R.D.2,owner of Ghenne's Restaurant,died Sunday, February 21,1960,at 6:45 p.m. She was born in Charleroi,Belgium,September 26,1880,the daughter of Theophile and Lorriance Hannien Poirgnaux. She was a member of St. Jerome's R.C. Church.She is survived by her husband,Albert J. Ghenne,one daughter, Alice E. Ghenne at home,and a sister,Mrs. Julie Biernaux,North Charleroi. A son,Ernest H. Ghenne,died in 1940. Friends will be received during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.,at the Schrock Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St. Jerome's Church,Wednesday,February 24,at 9 a.m.,by Rev. James F. McKeever,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock is the funeral director.
