Funeral services were held Tuesday morning;June 18;1985;for Mary Jane Carlson of Main Street;McKean;Pa.;who died Saturday;June 15;1985;at St.Vincent Health Center;Erie. She was 84. Mrs.Carlson was born Nov.10;1900;in Westland;Pa.a daughter of the late Ernest and Ida Wilczynski. Raised and educated in the Belle Vernon area;she moved to McKean about five years ago. Mrs.Carlson was a member of the Sterrettania Christian Alliance Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband;Charles Carlson;in 1964;and by a son;George Carlson;1980. Survivors include two sons;Kenneth Carlson of Attloboro;Mass.;and Charles J.Carlson;with whom she made her home in McKean;one brother;Edward Wilczynski of Saddlebrook;N.J.;four grandchildren;and ten great-grandchildren. Friends were received Monday at the Harry D.Glunt Funeral Home in Edinboro. Services were held;with the Rev.Richard Harter officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
