Obituary

Mary Belle Stark Neudorfer, 96, of Dazie, Fla., died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in her home. She was born July 1, 1906, in Roscoe, a daughter of the late Robert and Clementina Gollick Stark. She was the last surviving member of her family. Mrs. Neudorfer, a resident of Florida since the late 1970s, was Presbyterian by faith. She was a member and past matron of the Belle Vernon Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 196. Along with her husband, they owned and operated the Diaper Ice Cream Bar at Allen's Crossroads in Rostraver Township during the 1940s and 1950s, and then owned and operated Melrose Park Motel in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., from 1956 to the late 1970s. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell H. Neudorfer, on Jan. 23, 1986, and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jerry Elaine and Gene Klimetz of Cooper City, Fla. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. James C. Ramsey, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, officiating. Entombment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 196, will conduct services Sunday at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
