Mrs.Mary Ann Whetzel;78;of Saltsburg R.D.1;died in Latrobe Hospital yesterday at 10:15 a.m. Mrs.Whetzel;who was born in Belle Vernon;was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. She had lived in Belle Vernon until 1940. Preceding her in death were her husband;John Homer Whetzel;Jan.10;1958;and a daughter;Mrs.Vera Jenkins;Feb.6;1969. She is survived by a daughter;Mrs.Dorman (Edith) Cunkleman of Saltsburg;a sister Gertrude Roley o Belle Vernon;three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m. Dec.30. Service there Thursday;Jan.1 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.John Bowers;pastor of Belle Vernon First Christian Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
