Mary Andrea Mitchell,age 70,of Pricedale,passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in her home. She was born March 29,1948,a daughter of the late Andrew Vlahos ad Irene Rapitis Vlahos. Mary Andrea had worked as the Treasurer of Christ Anglican Church of Brownsville where she was a long-time member. She enjoyed worshipping at her church and was never too busy that she would not stop and pray for a person in need. She had also worked at Union Cleaners in Belle Vernon. Mary Andrea enjoyed going to the Memory Tree Yarn Shop in Monongahela and making all kinds of treasures. Mary Andrea enjoyed spending time with her family and friends,boating, doing crafts,playing cards,knitting,sewing,and playing silly games online. Surviving are her son,Craig Andrew Kirk and wife Mary,step-son,Joey Mitchell,step-daughter,Joanne Mitchell,son-in-law,Donald Lunt,and step-son,Charles Mitchell and grandchildren, Amber Mitchell,Curtis Lunt,Lisa and Joshua Frock, Jennifer and Brian Alessio,Jeffrey and Danielle Boleware,C.J. Mitchell, Hannah Mitchell,Isaac Mitchell,Jake Mitchell,and Brandon Mitchell. She was blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren,her favorite Aunt Kathy and husband Earl,and numerous nieces and nephews,cousins,and countless friends. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Charles A. Mitchell in 2002 and a son,Anthony Michael Kirk in 1971. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,Pa,where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8 on Tuesday,July 10,2018. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church,305 Church St., Brownsville on Wednesday July 11,2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
