Mary Vitz of 511 Bluff St.;Belle Vernon died at 2 a.m. Monday;March 23;1981;in her home. She was 82. She was born May 2;1898 in Belle Vernon a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann Wilson Vitz. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;she was a former employee of the former Monessen Laundry. Survivors include a daughter;Mrs.Evelyn Gelotti of Belle Vernon with whom she made her home;two brothers;Samuel Vitz of the Veterans Administration Hospital;Aspinwall and James Vitz of Canoga Park;Calif.;two sisters;Mrs.Elmer (Agnes) Moore of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Ella Rade of Okmulgee;Okla.;one grandchild and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at 10:30 Thursday in the funeral home;followed at 11 a.m.by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon.
