Mary T. Barger; 99; of Lynnwood; passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday; Nov. 30; 2013. A daughter of the late Paul and Katherine Maganetz Turtzer; she was born in Charleroi on Sept. 25; 1914. A member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; she enjoyed playing cards at the Center on the Hill; and was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. Survivors include four daughters; Paula (Bob) Beck of Tempe; Ariz.; Mary Lois “Cis” (Joe) Way of Oil City; Nancy Gaydos of Daisytown and Joan (Tom) Nave of Oviedo; Fla.; 11 grandchildren; Robert Beck; Julie Owen; Matt Beck; Renee Quijas; Tracey Way; Amy Adams; Mark Gaydos; Kristen Hedden; Deanne Petrucci; Patrick Nave and Courtney Hyer; and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; John K. “Jack” Barger on March 26; 2001; two sisters; Agnes Kendrick and Anna Diaz; three brothers; Paul; Peter and Joseph Turtzer; a great grandson; John Paul Gaydos; in infancy and a son-in-law; Paul Gaydos; in 2012.
