Mary Sakalik of 118 Baird St.;Monongahela;formerly of Belle Vernon R.D.2 (Rostraver Township);died Wednesday;Nov.18;1987;at 5:45 p.m.;in Haven Crest Convalescent Home;Carroll Township. She was 75. Mrs.Sakalik was born Nov.5;1912;in Pricedale;a daughter of the late Steve and Susie Ferenz. She had been a Rostraver Township resident most of her life. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John;Aug.25;1977;two brothers;Julius and Steve Ferenz;and by three sisters;Elizabeth Girhiny;Sue Lubowitz and Helen Yanko. Survivors include one son;John Sakalik of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Paul (Dolores) Miller of Monongahela;two sisters;Ethel Donley of Pricedale and Julia Meyers of Harrisburg;three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Saturday;Nov;21;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Frank J.DePolo officiating.
