p.m. Saturday; July 23; 1988; in the
Humbert Lane Health Care Center;
Washington; after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Washington
Township; Fayetle County; on June
26; 1911; a daughter of the late
Michael and Mercy Czjha Shosky.
She was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Belle Vernon; the
Belle Vernon Golden Agers and PNA
Lodge 1146; Monessen. She was a
retired janitress for the Belle Vernon
Area School District.
She was preceded in death by her
husband; James Patterson; in 1968;
by a grandson; Kevin Scott Patterson;
in 1960; and by two brothers; Andrew
Shosky; in 1941; and Michael
Shosky; in 1985.
Surviving are two sons; James M.
Patterson and William Thomas Patterson;
both of Fairhope; four
grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
a brother; John T.
(Yush) Shosky of Monessen; a
sister; Mrs. Albert (Margaret)
Frank of Belle Vernon; a sister-in-law;
Stella Shosky of Belle Vernon;
and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received at the
Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday and until 11 a.m.Wednesday;when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.Donald Schnarr;pastor of First Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
