Obituary
Mary "Mashe" Ercegovich Yusko, 68,of Belle Vernon,died Friday,Feb. 23,1996,in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born Aug. 11,1928, in Pricedale,she was a daughter of the late Joseph Ercegovich Sr. and Mary Tylosky Ercegovich. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, John Yusko,on Dec. 16,1994. Survivors include two sons,and one daughter-in-law,Charles E. Yusko at home,and Johnny Jo and Barbara Yusko of Monessen;five daughters and three sons-in-law,Anna Marie Farquhar of Fayette City,Mary Joyce and Harry Lahti of Belle Vernon, Priscilla and Wayne Byzon of Herminie,Patricia and Terry Jakela of Pricedale,and Linda Sapanara of Connellsville;two sister,Julia Bilski of Arnold City (Belle Vernon) and Rose Church of Fairhope (Belle Vernon);two brothers, Tony Ercegovich of Tionesta and Joseph Ercegovich Jr. of Charleroi;12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.in Holy Resurrecrtion Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John Kluchko officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mrs. Yusko is also survived by her daughter Anna Marie Farquhar's friend,Jack Vargo of Fayette City. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
