Mary Martha Chase Temoshenka; 72; of Monessen; died Tuesday; March 23; 2004; at 3:45 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Jan. 7; 1932; in Johnstown; she was a daughter of the late Frank E. and Nora Retallach Chase. Mrs. Temoshenka was a resident of Monessen for the past 56 years; a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and was retired from Atlas Merchandising Co. in Charleroi; where she worked as a stockroom clerk. In her earlier years; she loved to bowl and enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Paul Jr. and Catherine Temoshenka of Monessen; two daughters and one son-in-law; Mary Ann and Paul Baran of Belle Vernon; and Sheryl Temoshenka of Monessen; one daughter-in-law; Victoria Temoshenka of Monessen; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Frank and Wendy Chase and William and Elva Chase; all of Johnstown; five sisters and two brothers-in-law; Dora Siska; Ruth Killinger; Pat Chase; Judy and Paul Frollo and Nancy and John Miller; all of Johnstown; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul Temoshenka; on Nov. 27; 2002; one son; Steven Temoshenka; two grandchildren; Heidi Castor and Roxane Bailey; and one sister; Ester Maser. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 3:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Thursday; March 25 in the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Donald A. Bowers of First Christian Church; Belle Vernon; officiating.
