She was born Jan.14;1917;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Pollack. A homemaker;Mrs.Manown was a member of the St.John The Divine Orthodox Church;Monessen. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law;Gerald K.and Betty R.Manown Sr.of Webster;and Dennis C.and Diane Manown of Rostraver Township;six grandchildren;Kevin and Carol Manown;Jamie Manown;Denny Manown;Dean and Lesley Manown;Dena and Lou Mariano;Gerald Jr.and Jennifer Manown;and four great-grandchildren.Shane;L.J.;Dean and John. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;James Manown on July 12;1979;and five brothers;Charles;George;Mike;John and Joe Pollack. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Inc.580 Circle Drive;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;where a Blessing Service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m.at the St.John the Divine Orthodox Church;Monessen;with the Rev.John C.Horosky officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery;Rostraver Township. A Parastas Service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
