died suddenly Thursday; June
15; 1989; at 9:57 a.m. in Mon
Valley Hospital; Carroll
Township.
Mrs. Knaus was born July 29;
1904; in Wickhaven; Pa.; a
daughter of the late Anton and
Mary Dernovsek Krasovic.
She had been a resident of the
Belle Vernon area for the past 60
years.
Mrs. Knaus was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; Belle Vernon; Belle
Vernon Court No. 1522; Catholic
Daughters of America; and the
Belle Vernon Golden Agers.
Her husband; Paul Knaus;
died in 1957.
A brother; Andrew Krasovic;
is also deceased.
Surviving are a son; Robert V.
Knaus; of St. Louis; Mo ; two
daughters; Mrs. Florence
Petros and Mrs. Frank
(Mildred) Mazzei; both of Belle
Vernon; four sisters; Mrs.
Matilda Wachup; Mrs. Andrew
(Florence) Kohut; Mrs. John
(Amelia) Stanchak; and Lorraine
K r a s o v i c ; all of
Wickhaven; Pa.; 10 grandchildren
and 16 g r e a t -grandchildren.
Friends were received Thursday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be
received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m in the Leonard J. Parzynski
Funeral Home; 626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council No.3026 and Ladies Auxiliary services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. A Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial at St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
