Mary M. Bongiorno of 315 Shady avenue, Charleroi,died in the Mt. Alto Hospital,Thursday, July 27,1950,at 12 o'clock midnight. She was born in Charleroi,February 16,1920,the daughter of Philip and Anna Bongiorno. She attended Charleroi schools and was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Church. She is survived by her parents,Mr.and Mrs. Philip Bongiorno,seven brothers, Thomas,Samuel,Paul,Joseph,Philip,Jr. of Charleroi,Anthony of Fairhope and Frank of California state;three sisters, Mrs. Herman Benedetti,Mrs. Samuel Sutch,Jr. of Charleroi and Mrs. Walter Osiol of Donora. Friends will be received at her late home,beginning Saturday evening. Requiem High Mass will be sung at the Mother of Sorrows Church,Tuesday,August 1,1950,by Rev. J.J. Thomas,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is the funeral director.
