Mary Leithold of Apartment 80,Marion Villa,Belle Vernon,died Monday, December 31,1973 at 12:30 p.m. at her home. She was born in Pennsylvania on August 29,1914 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Puhae Pehnec. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Club,and the Belle Vernon American Legion Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband,Fred, in March,1973. Surviving is a son,James Leithold,of Ocala, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Barry (Janice) Helner,of Butler,Pa.;step-father,Michael Zlatovich,of California,Pa.;a brother,Steve Pehnec,of Roscoe,Pa.;half-brother,Nick Zlatovich,of Monessen;half-sister,Mrs. Eugene (Mildred) Shrum,of California,Pa.;five grandchildren,and a great-grandson. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,until Thursday when a Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Stephen J. Drab of the Holy Spirit R.C.Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Wake services Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
