Mary Lee McCarthy of Queens;N.Y.;formerly of Arnold City and Donora;died Tuesday;Jan.8;1985;at 9:45 a.m. in Booth Memorial Hospital;Queens;N.Y.;after a brief illness. She was 65. Mrs.McCarthy was born Oct.23;1919;in Dublin;Ga.;a daughter of the late Vonnae and Millie Lee Walker Dupree. She was preceded in death by her husband;Arthur W.McCarthy;who died April 13;1984. Surviving are three sons;Arthur;Gerald and Brian;all of New York;three daughters;Mrs.Joyce Carter;Mrs.Barbara Harrell;and Mrs.Jewell Ward;all of New York;and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday;Jan.12;until 2 p.m. when services will be held with Elder W.L.Rawlings of Pittsburgh officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
