Mrs. L.L. Reeves of 648 Reed avenue died Saturday,Nov. 23,1918,at 11 o'clock a.m. aged 33 years,of influenza,after one week's illness. Deceased leaves the husband,and one son,Leroy L. Reeves,Jr. Also two sisters, Agnes Schum of Monessen and Mrs. Florence Grimsley of Tokomo,Ind. and three brothers,Samuel of Belle Vernon,William of McDonald,O.,and James of Monessen. Deceased was one of Monessen's best known women,having been a resident here almost since the town was started. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Schum,the latter having passed to the great beyond. The family has the most sincere sympathy of the entire community in this the hour of deep sorrow. The funeral services will be held from the home Tuesday morning,at 10 o'clock. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
