Mary Kurtak;of 51 Ohio St.;Pricedale;died Friday;Jan.3;1975;at 7:40 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital following an illness of several years. Born in Austria-Hungary;Mrs.Kurtak was a resident of Monessen most of her life. She was a member of St.John The Divine Orthodox Church of Monessen. Mrs.Kurtak was preceded in death by her husband;Andrew Kurtak;in March of 1962;a daughter;Mary;in November of 1960;and three sons;Andrew Kurtak in April of 1964;Michael Kurtak in February of 1967;and Joseph Kurtak in September of 1969. She is survived by two daughters;Mrs.Adam (Ann) Klawcho of Pricedale and Mrs.Joseph (Elizabeth) Shirley of Pricedale;with whom she made her home the past seven years;five grandchildren;five great-grandchildren;and one brother;Paul Gogal of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Billick Funeral Home;Grand and Marion Blvd.;Monessen;from 7 until 9 p.m. on Saturday;Jan.4;1975 and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. on Sunday;Jan.5;1975;where a blessing service will be held on Monday;Jan 6;1975 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Requiem services at St.John The Divine Orthodox Church of Monessen at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev.Cyril Lukashonak;officiating.
