Mrs.Mary Kurtak;83;formerly of Belle Vernon R.D.;where she lived for forty years;died in the Mercy hospital;Friday;July 20;1956.  She had been living with a son;Michael Kurtak of West Mifflin Borough;Pittsburgh.  Preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Kurtak;she is survived by two sons;Michael of West Mifflin and Albert of Pittsburgh;three daughters;Mrs.Anna Sarnosky of Charleroi;Mrs.Mary G.Lefko of Conneaut Lake;R.D.1;Pa.;and Elizabeth K.Perry of Pittsburgh;one sister;Mrs. Elizabeth Stefanko of Windber;thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Walter Griffith Funeral Home;Broughton Saturday and Sunday the remains will be brought to the Toner Funeral Home;where visiting hours will be from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Requiem High Mass will be sung in St.Sebastian Church;Tuesday;July 24;1956;at 9:30 a.m.;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Rev.Henry Hanse will be in charge of Mass.  Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
