Born in Czechoslovakia;Jan.12;1902;she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Musserbrook. Mrs.Kurpiel was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;the G.C.U.Lodge No.188 of Monessen;the Belle Vernon and Charleroi Golden Agers clubs and the Senior Citizens of Charleroi. Mrs.Kurpiel had resided in the Belle Vernon area for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband;Paul;in 1962. Surviving are one son;John Kurpiel of Perryopolis;a daughter;Mrs.Anne Savage of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Betty Ferek of Parma;Ohio;and Mrs.Margaret Cirka of Ambridge;a granddaughter;Madeline Clark and great-grandson;Mark Allen Clark;both of Monterey Park;Calif. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian Church.
