Mrs. Mary Jane Lippincott,59,of Fayette City R.D.1,died Monday,Feb. 29,1960,at 4:12 a.m. at her home. Born in Monessen,July 31,1900,Mrs. Lippincott was a member of the Speer St. A.M.E. Church, Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband, Samuel;five sons, S-1c Robert Stamper, stationed at Fort Knox,Ky.,Elias of Sacramento,Calif.,A-2c Herbert,stationed in Japan,Howard M.and Chauncey,at home;four daughters,Mrs. Albert (Edna) Offutt,of Indianapolis,Ind.,Mrs. Henry (Betty) Ross,of Fayette City,Mrs. Walter (Dolores) Brown,of Monessen and Dorothea,at home;11 grandchildren;a brother,Robert Pharea of Carbondale,W.Va.,four sisters,Mrs. Raymond (Blanche) Williams,Mrs. Jack (Hazel) Wilson and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones,all of Weirton,W.Va.and Mrs. Margaret Hughes of Chicago,ILL. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m.,March 1. Funeral services will be held at the Speer St. A.M.E. Church, Belle Vernon, on Thursday,March 3,at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Luther Owens officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly Draper,funeral director.
