Mrs. Mary Jane Cruse,85 Knoxville,Pa (near Brownsville) died Tuesday at 11:35 a.m.at her home. Mrs. Cruse was born in Centerville,Ala.Jan15,1872. She was a former resident of Monessen having made her home here with her brother and sister-in-law,the late Rev. and Mrs. William Parker. She is survived by two sons Frank Parker of Chicago,Ill.and Mallie Phifer of Knoxville,with whom she had made her home; one sister,Sevella Parker of Brent, Ala.; one brother,Lee Parker of Bessemer,Ala.and a niece,Emma Parker,of Monessen. Friends will be received at the late home after 5 p.m. of Friday. Services will be held Saturday,Oct. 26,at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church,Brownsville. The Rev. Maxie Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,Monessen,funeral director.
