Mrs. Mary I. Bumgardner, age 63 years, died at her home in Fairhope,Tuesday, June 27,1944. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Baumgardner,two daughters, Kathleen Smith of Chester, Pa.,and Carmella Lahtie at home;five sons, Lawrence of Conemaugh,James of Belle Vernon,Pfc. Leo,stationed at Fort Benning, Charles of Denbo and Captain Arthur Baumgardner,stationed in England. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren. Friends will be received at the home of her son,James Baumgardner,914 Henry Street, Belle Venron. Services will be held there Friday,June 30,1944,at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R. Toner is the funeral director.
