Mary L.Hormell of 513 McKean Ave.;Charleroi;died Saturday;Oct.21;1978;at 11:30 a.m.at her residence. She was born March 4;1904;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Felix and Sarah Blackburn Frank. Mrs.Hormell was a member of the First Christian Church;Charleroi;and its Philathea Class;Dames of Malta;Goodwill Club;Golden Agers;V.F.W. Auxiliary;and the Charleroi Area Senior Citizens Association. Her husband;J.Russell Hormell;preceded her in death on Feb.1;1978. Survivors include a daughter;Mrs.Daniel (Carson) Leezer of New Eagle;two step-daughters;Blanche Cornwell of Columbus;Ohio and Frances Metz of Johnstown;Ohio;two brothers;Albert Frank of Belle Vernon and George Frank of Fontana;Calif.;14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Schrock Hogan Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Monday. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Dr.W.S.VanArsdale officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock Hhogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
