Mary Helen Manack,17,of 1543 Shady Lane Road, Columbus, Ohio,died Monday June 27,1977 in Mt Carmel East Hospital,Columbus. She was born Oct. 8,1959 in the stae of California,a daughter of John E. and Rose L. Manack,who survive. Miss Manack was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church of Columbus and graduated with distinction this year from Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated form Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1976 and was enrolled at Ohio State University for the coming fall quarter. Surviving besides her parents are three brothers,Paul C. and Matthew J. both at home,and John E. Manack II,with the U. S. Navy,and her maternal grandfather, James Rock of Belle Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 30,1977 at 1 p.m. at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church,Belle Vernon with Fr. Edward Gearing as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schoedinger Funeral Home,Columbus,is in charge of arrangements.
