Obituary
Mary Hasek of 813 Belle St.,Belle Venron,died Wednesday,Feb. 23,1977, at 11:35 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was 62. Mrs. Hasek,the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Matola, was born in Ford City on July 28,1914 and had lived in the Belle Vernon area the past 35 years. She formerly resided in Monessen. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Lynnwood and the Altar Guild of the chruch. Mrs. Hasek was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Neutt, on July 11,1976. Surviving are her husband, Albert Hasek;one son,Albert T. Hasek of Fayette City R.D.1;one daughter, Martha Neutt,at home;one brother, Frank Matola,Belle Vernon;three sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Anna) Vasil of Monessen,Mrs. Michael (Irene) Rodjom of Donora and Mrs. George (Sophie) Tyger of Monessen,and two granddaughters. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The family and friends will gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Lynnwood, for services on Saturday at 10 a.m.,with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas Services will be held at the fuenral home on Friday at 8:30 p.m. Shelby D. Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
