Mrs.Mary Freshwater;of Brownstown;Fayette City;R.D.1 died Sunday;July 14;1985;at 5:45 a.m. in the Favio Nursing Center;Markleysburg;Pa.;after a lengthy illness. She was 94. Mrs.Freshwater was born July 3;1891;in Washington Twp.;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Edward and Clara Bevans Bake. She was a Protestant by faith. Mrs.Freshwater was preceded in death by her husband;Earl Freshwater in 1974. Surviving are two sons;Bevan Freshwater of Florida and Walter Freshwater of Philadelphia;Pa.;three grandchildren;four great-grandchildren;and several nieces an nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.;all day Tuesday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday when services will be held in the funeral hoem;with the Rev.Norman C.Hunt;pastor;California Christian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
