Obituary

Mary Evelyn Renstrom, 81, of Tarrs, formerly of Fayette City, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1923, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Gust and Lillie Glotfelty Mood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Renstrom, in 2003, and one brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Emma Mood. Mrs. Renstrom was retired as a nursing assistant from Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fayette City. Survivors include one daughter, Henrietta Toth and husband Charles of Monongahela, one son, Bruce Renstrom and wife Mary Ellen of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren, Beth Orosky, Chad Toth and Jennifer and Megan Renstrom, three great-grandchildren, Justin and Shannon Orosky and Ryan Toth, and three brothers, Walter Mood and wife Virginia of Monessen, Jack Mood and wife Florence and Carl Mood and wife Linda, all of Fayette City. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., Fayette City. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9 in First Presbyterian Church, Fayette City at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
