Mary Ellen Owens Wilkinson,73,of 513 Bluff St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,Oct. 15,1996,at 1:30 a.m. in Horizon Senior Care,Canonsburg. Born June 25,1923,in Fayette City,she was the daughter of the late William C. and Ruth Hough Owens. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area,Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband, Russell Ellsworth Wilkinson;one daughter, Janet Ruth Lucovitz of Belle Vernon;three brothers, Herbert Owens and Richard Owens,both of Belle Vernon,and Robert Owens of Fallowfield Township;two sisters,Virginia Book of LaFayette,Ind. and Mrs. Lee (Betty) Barnes of Fayette City. There will be no public visitation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon is handling arrangements.
