Mrs. Mary Ellen Reese,71,of 1200 Shady avenue, Charleroi,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital, Tuesday, September 22,1959, at 8:15 p.m. A former resident of Gibsonton,Belle Vernon,she is survived by three sons, Charles W. Moyer,George and James Reese of California state;four daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Catherine) Welsh of Smithton, Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine) Fields of Charleroi, Mrs. Charles (Alice) Sparks of California state and Mrs. Harold (Vivian) Staggs of Charleroi R.D.1;one brother,Thomas Feehan of Monessen;two sisters, Mrs. Amos Boyer of Gibsonton and Mrs. Alice Gilmor of Pittsburgh,twenty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchidlren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St. Jerome's Church,September 26,at 9 a.m. by Rev. James McKeever,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
