Mary Elizabeth Jenion,89,of 1167 Graham Ave.,Monessen,died Monday, Feb. 12,1996,in the Integrated Health Systems of Greensburg. Born Dec. 4,1906,in Monessen,she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Bretschneider Oelschlager. A lifelong resident of Monessen, Mrs.Jenion was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She retired in 1971 after 30 years of service as a first-grade teacher in the Monessen School District. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Henry Milsom Jenion on July 17,1964; one sister, Edith Symons and two brothers, Walter and Franklin Oelschlager. Surviving are one son and daugher-in-law,Mel and Mary Jenion of Fort Hood,Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and John Raymond of Monongahela; two brothers, James Oelschlager of Beaver and Robert Oelschlager of Wooster, Ohio; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave, Belle Vernon,where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Senge,pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church,Monessen, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangemments are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home.
